“It's similar to the movement that happened once... When I was a child... that was the sudden change in the system of money flow...”

— Acca Howler, Chapter 17: "That Girls' Bags' Groove, Part 2"

Acca Howler is the eighth-generation head of the Howler family and CEO of Howler Infrastructure Company, and the main antagonist of The JOJOLands. He is the eighth antagonist of the series.

He is the ultra-rich CEO of Howler, who owns the land of Hualalai in Hawaii. He becomes at odds with Jodio Joestar and his crew when they show interest in exploring that land to take advantage of the Lava Rock they found there, causing the flow of money to go in their direction. He believes that he himself is the sole owner of this land and refuses to let anyone else be a part of his riches that he has culminated since his ancestors discovered the Lava Rock.

He is a Stand User, but his Stand ability is currently unknown.

Physical Appearance[]

Acca Howler is a tall fit man who wears a collared t-shirt. Under his shirt are fishnets with circular holes in them. He has a choker with an "H" pattern that goes around his neck, as well as a belt with the Howler logos "H" as the buckle. He has shorts and leggings with the same circular pattern as well. His beard is shaved in slits (similar to Gyro Zeppeli's beard) and has long hair that he wears in a long tail.

Design Variations[]

In Dolphin Bank's Debt Collection, Part 2, Acca appears as a child in a flashback. He wears a light onesie with a collar.

In HOWLER Company Impropriety Suspicions, Acca is seen wearing dark sunglasses while in his limo.

History[]

Early History[]

When Acca was a child, he learned about the land in Hulalai and discovered the Lava Rock, eventually learning about and honing how to manipulate the flow of money to himself by his grandfather. At some point when he is older, he founds the Howler infrastructure company.

Protecting his Assets[]

While enjoying his money and fame, he is interrupted to be told by his bankers that he is bankrupt, which he discovers is because a congressman gave the OK to seize the land in Hualalai with the Lava Rocks. He realizes this means that the flow of money has shifted and orders his agents Bobby Jean and Lulu to track them down. When they eventually fail, and he begins losing his money, the public outcry reaches him, and he is forced to respond. He hires a lawyer to help him named Key West, who reveals he also hired two others to assist him that he does not remember. These three individuals are here to assist Acca, and use the lead left on Bobby Jean's phone to track down Paco Laburantes.

Personality[]

Acca is eccentric and egotistical, completely absorbed in his riches, and knowledgeable in things like where certain foods are made. He is also aware that he is corrupt, saying to his bankers that they are no more innocent in his own "villainy" than he is. He enjoys the finer things in life and is completely boastful and arrogant in his belief that it belongs to him, flaunting to his girls on his lap that he will buy them the entire Japanese island of Hokkaido. He is spoiled and childish and fires and hires new people on a whim when he doesn't get his way. He does this so frequently that he often forgets when he hires or fires people.

He is very "land" oriented, as he is fully aware of the value of the things that certain lands can provide. When describing the ingredients to the wines that he is having his suitor's taste, he describes them based on where they came from, not what they are exactly made of.

Trivia[]

  • Acca's first name is the Italian word for the letter "H", and H being associated with "Howler" his company and last name.
    • He notes in Chapter 21 that he is the eighth inheritor of the Howler estate, and "H" is the eighth letter of the alphabet, which means the previous 7 letters came before him.
    • The way he writes it in his signature "Hacah" is not how the Italian letter would be spelled, as it would be "acca", but it is pronounced the same.
  • In the original Ultra Jump release of Chapter 19, Acca was stated to be the sixth-generation head of the Howler Company. This was later corrected when Volume 5 came out, changing him to be the eighth-generation head.
