Nadakhan the Djinn is the captain of the Misfortune's Keep and rightful heir to the throne of Djinjago. He is the main antagonist of Skybound.

Born the prince of Djinjago, Nadakhan became the captain of the crew of the Misfortune's Keep in Ninjago and ruled the high seas. Hisa archrival Captain Soto and the crew of the Destiny's Bounty took them down one day and forced Nadakhan inside of the Teapot of Tyrahn. Hundreds of years later, Nadakhan's teapot would be found accidentally, and he would be released. He brought back together his crew and used his father's Djinn Blade to steal people's souls and use them to raise the land of Ninjago into the air to create New Djinjago. His plans would be foiled as Jay and the other Ninja would intervene and rewind the clock to before Nadakhan was released. Since then, he has remained imprisoned.
