“Sensei Wu! Your Spinjitzu looks rusty!”
Samukai is the leader of the Skulkin and former right hand to Lord Garmadon. He is the main antagonist of the Pilot Episodes, has a flashback role in Legacy of the Green Ninja, and a major antagonist in Day of the Departed.
At an unknown point in time, Samukai was banished to the Underworld for being dishonorable in battle. He then became the Skulkin King, but was usurped by Garmadon when he arrived sometime later. He was then turned into his lackey and was ordered to send his troops into Ninjago to find the four Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu. He obtained them, after struggling against the Ninja, and returned them to Garmadon. Instead of handing them over, however, he attempted to possess all four at once, which caused him to overload with power and die.
During the Day of the Departed, his soul was taken from the Departed Realm to possess a manikin in order to destroy Jay. Jay defeated him, and he was ultimately returned to the Departed Realm for good.
