King Vangelis, also known as the Skull Sorcerer, is the former King of Shintaro and leader of the Awakened Warriors. He is the main antagonist of Master of the Mountain and a major antagonist in Crystalized.
At an unknown point in time, Vangelis became the King of Shintaro and had a daughter, Vania. He would later be coerced, supposedly by the Crystal King, to harvest Vengestone in the mountains he inhabited. He did this by using the Skull of Hazza'Dur, and became the Skull Sorcerer. He commanded the Geckles and Munce of the Mountains of Shintaro to harvest Vengestone against their will. He would later be stopped by Cole and the Ninja and imprisoned in the dungeons of Shintaro.
Sometime later, he would be freed from his imprisonment by the Overlord and asked to join the Army of the Crystal King to possess the Crystalized Scythe of Quakes. He would later be arrested and sent to Kryptarium Prison along with the rest of the council.
