Thunderfang, also known as the Shatter Dragon of Chaos is a former Dragon Patriarch and General of the Dragon Army during the War of Oni and Dragons. He is the main antagonist of Dragons Rising Season 3.
After consuming the souls of countless Oni, Thunderfang's power of Chaos grew unchained, and he made it his mission to become a Source Dragon. When they would not let him, he waged war with the Source Dragons, but was defeated by the Arc Dragon of Focus, and sealed underground in the First Realm for thousands of years. Eventually he was able to enlist the help of the Forbidden Five, granting them five unique Elemental Powers, which they would use to break him out. It would take them hundreds of years through several setbacks, including being imprisoned in the Nether-Space, before they collected the five Prismatic Blades and freed him. His freedom didn't last long, however, as he was killed by the Ninja. After death he entered the Spectral Lands, where his spirit used the hollowed spirits of the Forbidden Five to collect soul energy to revive himself.

Also in The Shatter Dragon, he appears as a blue translucent ghost in the Spectral Lands.
